Last week we released an update that let all our creatives connect to Stripe in preparation for the upcoming onboarding of Creators (more on that in a moment). I’d love to tell you it was a resounding success but unfortunately, that’s not the case.
The method I had chosen to connect to Stripe turned out to be pretty confusing, even for me, and some users have had trouble setting up their accounts.
The last thing I want is for you to have to go through a painful process just to get setup on DoodleMeeple so over the last few days I’ve implemented a new way to connect to Stripe.
Some of you may be familiar with the way it works, the main advantage is that if you already have a Stripe account you don’t need to go through the process of entering your details all over again, simply give DoodleMeeple permission to connect to your Stripe account and that’s it.
If you connected your Stripe account before 1st December 2020 then you may be affected by this announcement.
What you need to do
You have the choice of either continuing with your connected account or you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll help you swap over your connection. It’s pretty simple and should only take 5 minutes.
